Journal jakimfett's Journal: Memorial Day 1

There's a song for the fallen, and a song for the brave, a song for the heroes, and all that they gave. We owe them our lives, our freedom, and more, and today we remember, the heroes of war.

Now wars have no beauty, and we can't understand, the horrors they visit on the souls of men, but we can praise the ones who were willing to fight, the ones who gladly gave up their lives.

There's a song for the fallen, and a song for the brave, a song for the heroes, and all that they gave. We owe them our lives, our freedom, and more, and today we remember, the heroes of war.

And it's not just the wars that they were willing to fight, but the ones they prevented, or ended without strife. Their honor and duty stands out above all, their willingness to answer their county's call.

This song's for the fallen, this song's for the brave, it's a song for the heroes, and all that they gave. We owe them our lives, our freedom, and more, and today we remember, the heroes of war.

Thank you, everyone who has served. We owe you more than we can ever understand.
