Journal Marxist Hacker 42's Journal: The reason why I want to never register as a Democrat 14
Four planes attack buildings in our nation, with three of them being successful. Thousands die in the attack. Our military experiences a surge in volunteers to âoego punish the bastards that did thisâ.
Drones attack villages in Afghanistan, killing innocent people. Their people respond by taking up arms to âoego punish the bastards that did thisâ.
And we act surprised that they hate us for the same reasons we hate them. Go figure.

But like I said, when it comes to somebody HONESTLY following the RIGHT way, I don't have anybody. Closest too, but still flawed, dropped out of the race before I could vote for him (my theory is that the drug companies that like Romney better threatened his daughter's life).

You can put us and them on a Venn diagram. The overlap is _substantial_. The disjoint bits, while small, unfortunately drive most of the discussion.

The disjoint bits are the ones that make drone war evil. The original comment came from a blog entitled "Begun this drone war has". Soldiers, being human, are willing to "improved the security situation, built roads, drilled wells, taught basic skills like drip irrigation, and paid Afghans money for work"; Drones just kill random people that we think might be bad from the sky.

Few to no people in war today are given that simple dignity. the drone war is at the rock bottom of a very long and slippery slope.
