  • I review the headlines of all the journal entries of everyone on my friends list [slashdot.org] - when I see an intriguing headline, I click to read the entry At some point I added you to my list, likely becuse I found one of your comments interesting, or you replied with an inciteful comment to one of my comments.

    Typically the people that read Journals, are your fans that have journals (and to a lesser extent your other fans), since you have six fans (including me) that have journal's (and five more that don't) there i

      The reason I have identified so few people is that I have blocked images from slashdot on my home machine (I have a 28.8 modem there, bleh!).

      Slashdot is surprisingly usable with images blocked, but the friend/foe lights (gems? spheres? whatever you call them) are of course lost.

      I'll set aside some time at the office to classify people, and see where that gets me.
