I have heard multiple "serious media commentators" refer to this unfolding of events as resembling something like "a Greek tragedy".
I am put more in mind of an Italian sex-farce. Like they used to make when Loren and Lollobrigida were at peak.

This story most resembles a Coen Brothers screwball comedy:
"So what did we learn, Palmer?"

It was the FBI agent sexting shirtless pictures of himself to the hot next-door neighbor who happens to have thousands of pages of classified documents on her home computer.
The partisan in me wants to note that not one single person involved in this scandal is a Democrat. It's a Republican-only affair, by all appearances.
