dogfart's Journal: Easter dinner

Big dogs were all excited today! Running around, burying things (they call this "cleaning up", like when I catch something and want to make sure other dogs don't find it). Bunch of human dogs showed up. From their smell, I think they can from the same pack as the big dogs. Lots of food - they must have had a successful hunt. I kept my manners and kept my place. When they brought out the Big Pigeon, though, I couldn't resist. With all my politeness, I sat and looked at the human dogs eating. Got a few nibbles! An exciting day! I never knew my pack had so many human dogs in it! I never knew these human dogs hunted pigeons that big! They called it a turkey - but I know it was a pigeon. I've hunted pigeons myself, and this tasted just like it.
