The problem of allowing online public discussion was first addressed over twenty years ago with mailing lists and Usenet. It was refined into an efficient, high quality experience.   • Sorry, I didn't read your link, but I'm very sad to see so many web forums. A lot of them don't even work with google. It's a losing battle, the new kids think usenet is worthless. I haven't convinced anyone otherwise in years.
