What really sold me on my apartment was the beautiful sun room overlooking the street. Quite often I'll be working at home and see birds and squirrels active in the trees outside.
I guess I've accumulated my share of desktop toys over the last few years: a Squirtle plush toy I aquired when Pokemon was new; a crystal Elephant and Rhino that I bought for someone else but ended up keeping; and a bob-head Beagle to remind me of my Beagle boy [thisoldcomputer.com].

I just find it really fascinating that I identified some (I hope you don't mind if I use the term) feminine sensibilities about your set-up. Or maybe a more refined sense of aesthetics and comfort? Yeah, that'd be a better way to put it.
