Geekboy(Wizard)'s Journal: laptop is fixed, and survied being canadian for a week

I got my laptop fixed. bought a motherboard off of ebay for $400, and installed it. everything works pretty well.

I bought a new carrying case for it, lots of nice padding. With the carrying case, it survived my trip up to Calgary (for C2K3).
