Absolutly zero sympathy for Mark Sanford

  • Sanford hasn't lied us into wars costing thousands of American (and tens of thousands of foreign) lives. Granted, he hasn't had the opportunity, but his problems are pretty minor compared to what other American politicians have done recently.
    • I find your analysis craptacular. Integrity begins within.
      • I'm just saying we've had presidents who were faithful to their families but did terrible things nonetheless. We've also had leaders who are viewed as having done great deeds but had personal relationships that some would consider unethical in modern times.
        • Stepping back to make an observation about arguments in general, managing the scope of the discussion becomes key.
          Incrementing the exponent on your argument, "All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
          But the idea of "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" has been turned into a kindergarten of Eden [amazon.com] by the morally rudderless.
          Full circle: Mark Sanford is a clown who deserves to be ignored. His proven moral turpitude remains a corrosive issue. Even if the voters of his district feel lik
