Pave Low's Journal: More Slashdot Editor Moderation Abuses

this is a new classic. I post this, and it gets hit with 2 overrateds in a minute after, and now I am banned. Of course, this means the moderations can't get M2'd, and therefore nothing can be done about this blatant abuse of moderation points.

I assume it was michael who did this, since i replied directly a particularly stupid comment of his, where he insults a reader yet again from his might position as reader and moderator.

What regular airframe is it? Like H-13 or what? My cousin's husband flies them but I don't know anything about Airforce helicopters.

The only thing i know about this a/c [globalsecurity.org]is that it's big. The 53 is one big muther. Other than that, I'm pretty clueless about them.

I suppose you can call this my 'troll account' if you mean it's an account to post my more honest opinions. That's why my karma can fluctuate wildly, post the "right" opinion, and be rewarded, post the "wrong" opinion, get punished.

That's why I deliberately posted that comment logged-in, to see how fast and furious those -1 mods would come.

Now, maybe I just don't understand the moderation system very well here. But I've always had excellent Karma. But lately, I've been posting in response to politcal stories and opinions, and I'm not in the majority here on that. And today, I've noticed that a point has been subrtracted from every post I've made (that I can see). I'll have to go back in and look at the regs, but have you guys ever seen this before?

And I agree with you on the Dave Barry thing. :P

As for you problem, I have no idea what that is. Maybe it's some new scheme Taco has cooked up, and pushed thru without testing and informing others yet again.
