Ha.. Just notice that someone commented in my journal.. it was a fair cop.. but because he posted as an Anonymous Coward I wont bother dignifying it with a reply..

Well, last night the 22nd of Jul, I managed to successfully compile and run Gentoo 1.4 rc5 on my home machine.. Its fscking sweet :-D
I had some major help from a guy in the US called Lateef, nice guy.. very helpful and instrumental to me being successful with Gentoo.
I plan on sending him something "Aussie" to thank him.. He's a Muslim I think so unfortunately Vegemite won't be allowed. (I'll ask him just in case).
As I was saying.. Gentoo is very cool.. I'm glad I chose it over RH or Lycoris.. as It makes a lot more sense and is easier to troubleshoot than RH.. plus it doesn't have loads of bloat.. only what I ask for.. :-)

Rea and myself have decided we want our bed back.. so we bought a dog bed for Java and Gimli so they can sleep in that.. we haven't been getting much sleep lately because the bloody bastards keep waking us up at around 3 am wanting to climb in with us.. probably because its cold..
We bought them hot water bottles but they get cold after a few hours.. so were looking around for an electric blanket small enough to put in their bed..

Suzie is back.. and getting better.. its a bit of a shock that she had a minor stroke.. ah well.. at least it served a lesson to me.. now I'm playing volleyball 3-4 times a week, and badminton once a week at the moment.. but I want more practice.. so I'm going to have to find another court to play on.

I'm so tired from the dogs and all the time spent on Gentoo.. but all I can think of is going home and playing with it more.. *sigh* *yawn* :-P

I'm getting behind again at work so time to log off and catch up..
