Journal Jonsey's Journal: The only Current Karma Problem. 1

Funny does not add Karma.

All negative modifiers detract Karma.

If I post something that goes 60% Funny, 40% Overrated on a total of 10 moderations: That means I've lost 4 Karma on a post that many thought was a good gag.

This is not horrible. By any means. But it is annoying.
(The Above are Not Sentences)

I wish I had a way to modify /code so that:

I do not lose Karma from a Funny post. Provided that: I do not get modded down more than I get modded up on Funny

Unfortunately, I do not have the knowledge to change slashcode, though someday I might.

Perhaps, as my first valid Journal entry, we might discuss if this would be acceptable overall?

I'm fine with not getting +Karma for Funny, but the fact I'll still get -Karma for overrated in Re: Funny is annoying.

Or, perhaps we can change so that Mods not subject to M2 affect Karma differently/Are subject to M2 in some way?
