FortKnox's Journal: Resident Evil... The Movie?

After reading about IndianaJones 4, I checked out some "Coming Attraction" sites, and happened to bump into another 'video-game-turned-movie'... Resident Evil.
Looks like they have a classic horror director, and those that have played the game are aware that the plot is pretty involving and very easily transferable to movies. I'm surprised this hasn't gotten any attention lately... its already in post-production; Due out in May.
Also, they have a contest to make the 'official movie poster'. Unfortunately, they already have 5 finalists, but you can vote on your favorite.

And I got rejected about the resident evil story. I still think it'll make a GREAT movie, though (then again, I'm a RE junkie. I wish they'd use the CodeVeronica plot. Its got wierdos and crossdressers and stuff) ;-). Can't wait to see it!

Another Game that would make a good movie...

BloodWake for the XBox actually has a VERY good story line. With a little meat on it and more development of the realtionship between you (the player) and Helen, it could make a good flick. (And of course, all the exploding boats!)
