Journal Xaoswolf's Journal: I guess I'm a troll 9

So, I get modded as a troll for This, but I ask you, can you think of any other reason why they would teach harry potter physics in a school?

can you think of any other reason why they would teach harry potter physics in a school?

Yes, I can think of at least four. But I don't want to get modded "Troll" by 1) pro-corporate types, 2) anti-corporate types, 3) the MPAA astro-turfers, 4) emacs users, so I'll refrain from posting them.

    • If any of the reasons had anything to do with "twincest slash fics", I'm afraid modding you down wouldn't be enough...

      • *laugh*

"Afraid to ask" doesn't even begin to cover it. I googled for the first term and that was quite enough.

  • didn't know if you were going for funny, but it's better than troll.

  • That's where I did my undergrad. Never had that guy, but he was both liked and respected. I have a feeling there is a bit more to the story than what was mentioned. I read the linked CNN story. My wife went to a school (KSU) where they teach HP as literature.

There went the value of both our diplomas.
    • What I don't understand is what people plan to get out of these classes?

I mean, having a Harry Potter or two lesson in a class about Modern literature would be good. Having lessons on fact checking and how to make sure that what you write is plausable is good.

Devoting an entre class to Harry Potter isn't. What are these people going to be when they grow up? I doubt that they'll have any rights to write and publish their own Harry Potter works aside from perhaps in Fanfic form. They can't all get job
