Journal Archangel Michael's Journal: Tired 5

I have been so tired lately it isn't even funny. Physically, not sleepy. Yet right now, I am sleepy tired, and it is just after 1:00pm.

It isn't like the job of a geek is all that hard. it isn't. The hardest part is lifting equipment on occasion.

I have tried the working out, eating better stuff to no avail, except that it makes me MORE tired. I have had a checkup, and my health is okay.

I just don't get it. Can I get a nap with those fries?

  • Have you tried taking a vitamin B complex? I know that it all seems like so much BS, but when I've been low on energy, it's really boosted me.

Maybe cut back on alcohol consumption (and caffeine, too) and let your body get back in its own groove?

Or just get away somewhere for a night with the wife/family to rejuvenate yourself.

You never know what might work!

  • you've had your health checked. Good. How extensively? blood sugar, thyroid and sleep all oke? no allergies or celiac? (food allergies are a major hidden detriment to health, all it takes is one allergy to make you sick...)

i wouldn't discount the thought that you may be fighting a low-level infection of some kind, and that it may just be awhile before you're back at full throttle.

Does it correspond at all to seasonal changes?

Have you tried low-impact aerobic exercise? i mean every day, for at least 15

    • Thanks guys

Yeah, cut back caffine. Don't drink except a glass of wine every now and then (red, as an antioxidant).

Blood work was run as well as a full check of all the known issues in my family.

Not having any sleep problems, except it seems as if it isn't enough even when I wake up and can't go back to sleep.

B-Complex, Garlic, fish oil, Zinc, Iron etc vitamins haven't helped much.

I do have allergies, but I am alergic to everything, and that isn't anything new. I drink lots of H2O.

I think it is just wo
      • I don't know if this might help you, but I have frequently dealt with insomnia. It helped me to learn some autohypnosis techniques, which, at the very least, helped me concentrate and clear my mind and relax enough to get back to sleep.

My other favorite method of going to sleep right now is to put on headphones and listen to my favorite books on CD (the Harry Potter series) to fall asleep. Eventually, I pull the headphones off in my haze. Listening to engaging, familiar fiction helps completely distract m
        • Actually, except for bathroom breaks in the middle of the night, I am sleeping normally. And I always make sure that I get a good 8 hours in most nights, and nothing less than six on the rest.

I am starting to feel a bit better the last couple of days. Here's hoping for continued improvement. :)

          Thanks for your sympathy.
