Watching the season finale right now. Just a quick note for those who watch it:

You know why they had to pick a nice guy?
Anybody else would have kicked their ass, especially Ralph. I know I would, but only if I could have still kept the $100K.

Television is such a waste of time

I have killed mine, and refuse to particpate in inane systems of social control such as television. Instead, I spend my time doing valueable things for my own independant mental evolution and education such as posting silly things in stranger's journals on a website even more mind numbing than television!

All you fools who watch television are rotting your brains! ;)

I watch two shows which have the apparent goal of fucking with normal television.

Family Guy and Joe Schmoe Show.

Rest of the time, I watch movies and play on my Xbox.

What the hell fox? what the hell... Family Guy... Futurama... and people say microsoft is bad... Imagine a company that makes a product, people love it for 2 years, and then they just drop it to move on to something else.

my reply was tongue-in-cheek, but seriously, i haven't watched TV since 9/11. I was getting fed up before that and after that I just couldn't take it any more. I can honestly say I don't have any clue what the Joe Schmoe show is. I did quite like the Family Guy though.

I was playing a lot of Quake 3, but I quit that about 6 months ago. Most of my previous TV time is consumed by reading or movies that I want to see. I've found it really nice to be TV free, and a little strange to choose to not watch TV

I have to go A, D, and E... Kip being not gay was established on day 1. It was quite the entertaining show for me and very enjoyable. I thought the finale ran a bit long though, but I'm glad I watched it... I wouldn't mind seeing the uncensored footage of the show either for that matter.

It's making fun of Reality TV shows. They got this guy to come on a fake reality show called "Lap of Luxory" and then continued to fuck with the guy for 10 days.

They had 9 actors, with all the stereotypical Real World/Survivor type attitudes. The token gay guy, asshole, bitch, etc. It was awesome.

My girlfriend will watch Real World sometimes, and I accidently get subjected to it, and it's really funny because I could never appreciate J

I listen to Ralph each morning on the radio. The Kevin and Bean show, home of the most famous sidekicks ever. Jimmy Kimmel was the sports anouncer and a character voice man before he moved on to do the man show, and later his own late night talk show. Dr Drew from loveline first heard Adam Carolla doing his Mr Birchim character (now well known in crank yankers) on the morning show and later invited him to do loveline. I think that anybody who goes on a reality show has really got to loosen up on the whole concept of taking themselves too seriously. And double that for people in real life.

We all play the fool sometimes, and it's *so* much easier if you can just laugh along with everyone else rather than getting all pissy.

(I can't believe I actually watched over half of the episodes of that show -- I watch almost *no* TV -- somehow this one made the short list!)

I watched the premiere w/ some trepidation but was immediately hooked ... damn that show was funny. And Molly ... well ... Damn. With a capital D.

I MISSED the finale if you can believe that ... am waiting to go into work to quiz coworkers who were just as addicted as I.

It pains me to enjoy reality TV but so funny ...

There were two reality shows I got hooked on: Joe Schmoe and Paradise Hotel.

Joe Schmoe was funny as a parody of reality show stereotypes. Paradise Hotel was hilarious as there was absolutely no point to it at all, and everyone eagerly acted out all the stereotypes from the other shows -- and they weren't kidding!

The finale is like 30 minutes of recap of the highlights, then him finding out is the next 20 (and it's stretched out) then they do another freaking hour of interviewing him and stuff.

I just wish the kiss had gone on longer.

The show was brilliant. The tribute touching. Having said that, it was definitely too long by at least 1/2 hour, maybe a full hour.
Very funny.
'The Hutch' was brilliant.

I thought Hutch was cool as well. He was my favourite character. I was so delighted to see him come back. As for the women, I thought that they all were gorgeous.
