Journal rho's Journal: Thickheadedness 3

I can't abide thick headed people.

I can understand being unwilling to admit that you're wrong, especially when I'm so unfriendly, but at some point you have to back up and admit that you're starting to sound a bit stupid.

That might be an interesting experiment: fight two different battles, one rudely, one friendly. See if you really can catch more flies with honey.

  • Friendly or rude, it wouldn't change the fact that this guy is as dumb as a box of hair. Not worth your effort, really - save the arguments for a person who can respond in kind.

Of course a device that can be used to copy game ROMs should be illegal - it's an example of one industry actually being smart about their products and trying to prevent the media from being pirated before the means to pirate them are widely available. The music industry was way too slow on the draw, and the video industry is struggling mightily to stay ahead of the game. But Nintendo, god bless 'em, are actually winning, and who can blame them for pressing their advantage? The console makers were smart enough to use non-standard media that makes copying truly difficult, because, as dinks like this guy like to ignore, technically speaking, copying and distributing other people's copyrighted material is illegal. And for good reason. Now, the device really isn't the act, but this is a case of "Who the hell do you think you're fooling?"

I like your posts, and I respect your intelligence. Don't waste it on dumbasses. Save your breath. Life's too short.

  • It's a difference of opinion man, and you're entitled to believe whatever you want. However when you go around saying things like 'sophistry' and calling everyone a moron because they don't agree with you, that's when people tend to stop listening to you.

I read your GBA arguments - you say a few big words, accuse someone of being a moron, and are ranting and raving by the end of your comment. Now you're wondering why nobody listens to you...
