my son make and/or sell drugs, or pimp, rather than win a Nobel Peace Prize. There are people on that list responsible for more death and destruction than any serial killer you could name.

Escobar vs. Kissinger: Escobar didn't murder 1 million or more, in the name of his people's national interest, while depriving those people of their treasury and welfare.
Escobar is a criminal, but not a war criminal on the par with MIlosevic or Eichmann.
Again, he compares favourably to Kissinger:
He killed fewer people.
He killed fewer Americans.
He slept with fewer girls.
He slept with fewer boys.
He directly supported more charity.
He never planned the bombing of hospitals full of children.

Oh, I agree, no doubt, but these choices are at least honest.
