No, I think I'll be ok on that front. There were a few emails over the company talklist about it, but I've shuffled those off to a folder where I won't have to see them in my inbox all the time and I'll be able to wait to read them until I build up the nerve. Between that and my extraordinary efforts to suppress this horrible, horrible memory, I should be ok. :)

Yeah. I know that it has become easier with all the automation these days. I know that it was pretty hard to mess up with the old contactlist-less mailers. I forget the particular case where I messed up, and it doesn't really compare, being a college-based job instead of the entire student body or the staff and faculty. If sending a noncompromising personal message to people is embarrassing, a very personal one just sucks. I've been somewhat lucky.

Since I'm self employed; I wouldn't have that situation happen - at least not yet. I have accidentally sent an email to a former girlfriend; thinking I was sending it to a match.com potential. (I was close to the end of a relationship, but wanted to find someone new before I gave the long term up.)
