damn_registrars accused Phil Roberson of delivering a "homophobic rant".
I asked him to be specific regarding the portion of Phil Robertson's remarks in GQ, where PR found homosexuality "illogical", that expressed fear, or was a indeed a rant.
damn_registrars seems to be falling short of delivering the goods.
Rational readers may draw their own conclusion.damn_registrars accused Phil Roberson of delivering a "homophobic rant".

D_R could try honesty. I'd not hold my breath, though.

"Homophobia" to people like D_R means "not approving of homosexuality". The clinical definition has lost it's meaning. People like D_R like to tack on the suffix "phobia" or "phobic" to things in an attempt to insinuate that the behavior or view in question is pathological rather than intellectually, religiously, or morally based.

Regarding his use of the term "rant" I'm sure that at the time he wrote that, in his minds eye he viewed it as a rant. That was the way his minds stored it, and that's the way he viewed it. That's completely understandable, of course. In moments of passion, such things are natural. I'm sure you understand that as well. Your insistence that he cry uncle... why you are in such need of that is something I'll leave to you to sort out. But I digress.

Anyway, now that things have calmed down and that D_R has presumably removed the twist from his panties, I'm sure he realizes that the duck dude did not "rant" in any sense of the word. Honesty would require him to admit that. I'd not hold my breath, though.

The incomparable Steyn [nationalreview.com] :

Bob Hope, touring the world in the year or so after the passage of the 1975 Consenting Adult Sex Bill:

"I've just flown in from California, where they’ve made homosexuality legal. I thought I’d get out before they make it compulsory.

For Hope, this was an oddly profound gag, discerning even at the dawn of the Age of Tolerance that there was something inherently coercive about the enterprise. Soon it would be insufficient merely to be "tolerant" -- warily accepting, blithely indifferent, mildly amused, tepidly supportive, according to taste. The forces of "tolerance" would become intolerant of anything less than full-blown celebratory approval.

Are you actually one of the people behind red4man? (2)

You seem to just be trolling me now. Nobody else ever did that many JEs dedicated in my name before. Nobody else ever ignored so much of what I wrote in the process of "replying" to me. Nobody else repeated the same obvious statements in vacuo in such an obnoxious way. Nobody else (save one) ever went to such lengths to avoid answering my questions.
