OK, so maybe you wouldn't (it is pretty alpha right now and has no point whatsoever yet). Sorry to spam, I was just passing through and saw the references to the genre of genres... I usually play a human male neutrally-aligned Wizard. I have problems, though, making it past about level six or seven (the gnomish mines). I'm hoping to find a "playing a Wizard in Nethack" type FAQ. As I read more FAQ's I'm slowly learning useful things, but it's still frustrating to die by level three or four (usually).
BTW: Thank you for getting me re-addicted to Nethack.
