Journal Rupert's Journal: Niemoller on Outsourcing

First they outsourced the textile producers,
    and I didn't speak up,
        because I wasn't a textile producer.
Then they outsourced the auto workers,
    and I didn't speak up,
        because I wasn't a auto worker.
Then they outsourced the COBOL programmers,
    and I didn't speak up,
        because I was a Java programmer.
Then they outsourced me,
    and by that time there was no one
        left to speak up for me.
