It disproportionately affects minority women, therefore is racist. That's what Eric Holder tells me: hence, punishment in school is racist. Obama's administration literally said that.

(Of course, in actual fact, the notion that equal punishment regardless of race is racist is itself racist.)

It's sad -- Dr. King's message about people being evaluated on the content of their character has been lost, and people are putting their whole sense of identity into how much pigmentation they have in their skin.

It's depressing. No one chooses their parents. Everyone chooses their actions, and as a result, their character.
