Chacham's Journal: Troll: Linux is not an OS, explain non-US don't compare.

Feeling silly. How's this attempt at trolling? Taking insanecarbonbasedlif's comment, i added boldness. Though, i'm not sure the words were done correctly. Also, this troll was definitely of lesser quality, since i had absolutely nothing to say, and simply pushed to get it.

And the worst part of all this is i loaded the front-page to get a recent story. I feel dirty now.

I think the AC is right, being more subtle would definately give your trolls a much longer life, and probably increase the responses you get. If you can get a few responses, and then gently, but condescendingly (this is a hot button for many /.ers... they don't like condescending replies, but they don't realize that is what they are reacting to, and so they'll go off the deep end attacking your "position") reply to some of them, you can get quite a thread going with a minimum of effort.

Linux/GNU is an Operating System, in that it is both a kernel, and a set of tools to make said kernel useful. Mis-use of technical language on a technical website only serves to undermine the credibility of the Open Source movement.

And why say ATO (Australian IRS equivalent)?
