    • I've all but given up on M2. I haven't had mod points for fscking ages either. Musta done something to piss off the editors...
      • I don't read the main page stories that much any more, so that may be it. Also, I'm probably over the "obsessive" threshold in terms of total clicks. But hey, I have to keep up with the JEs...
        • Maybe that's it, but then again, I've done what Jawtheshark has tried (avoid Slashdot for a few days, then read front page stories and post comments which get modded up and Ms for a while) and still no mod-points. Kinda hard to be enthused about M2 if you never get a chance to M1 ever again...
          • The mod point award system is totally incomprehensible to me. I post sporadically; when I do post it tends to be a flood of posts over a night or two; I rarely meta; I *do* use my mod points before expiration (mostly) but I spread them around in a more or less random manner, which makes me wonder what criteria they are using to determine the awarding of mod points.

            Thanks for replying, it's nice to know that *some* people are reading my journal :) as new as it is.
