INHOFE SLAMS OBAMA'S OUTRAGEOUS LIE: BENGHAZI WILL BE THE 'GREATEST COVER-UP' IN US HISTORY

"It's just an outrageous lie. It's kind of hard to call it anything else. It's kind of like ObamaCare and the things he said in the beginning and now he's denying it."
I will say this till my dying day, I know people don't realize it now, that's going to go down in history as the greatest cover-up. And I'm talking about the Pentagon Papers, Iran-Contra, Watergate and the rest of them"

Back to the regularly scheduled conspiracy! (2)

damn_registrars (1103043) | about 6 months ago | (#46147075)

I was starting to miss this bit! Now we can go back to your favorite conspiracy theory. I love that he is willing to assert that there is a cover up yet he doesn't have any evidence to support that anything was covered up. He has access to at least as much information as anyone else (presumably the same amount of information that can be released, and perhaps some small amount of classified information) and yet he can't be bothered to actually go out and actually specify what this thing is that he claims is being covered up.

In other words you have yet another conservative conspiracy theorist who is whoring for attention. Big effin' deal.

Oh, nevermind he's up for re-election in 2014 [wikipedia.org] . He needs something to get people excited over. Aside from one particular self-serving piece of legislation [wikipedia.org] he doesn't have much of a record of getting anything done beyond voting the most extreme part of the party line.

Where is your evidence to support this lack of evidence?
Is it time for a proper investigation, then?

So you're saying that, as with Obama on the IRS, "There's not one smidgen of corruption?"
I guess that may be true, in the sense that 1% is not 100%, if you're accepting "a smidgen" = 1%.
If this administration had shred #1 of integrity, Obama would be the one calling for independent prosecutors, and going "open kimono" on these major scandals. But he's as dishonest as the sad little throne sniffers backing him up on social media sites.

If he has evidence of a cover up why is he not sharing any of it? As I mentioned, he is up for reelect this year so it is just as likely that he is merely whoring for attention. Furthermore, you asking for someone to show evidence of a lack of evidence is equivalent to asking someone on trial to prove their innocence, which is not how justice is supposed to work in this country.

Is it time for a proper investigation, then?

It has been investigated independently. Just because you don't like the results that were found (even though the independent journalists who investigated it found plenty wrong) doesn't mean that it is warranted to throw federal money at it.

No. I'm not saying that nothing went wrong. I'm simply saying that the conspiracy theory is nothing more than a conspiracy theory. You and many others are hoping to unseat the POTUS over this, and there is no evidence that anyone has shared to date that supports this being anywhere near that magnitude.

If this administration had shred #1 of integrity, Obama would be the one calling for independent prosecutors

Then you'd be declaring it to be a waste of money. A federal investigation is not a cheap endeavor. Especially being as there is no evidence to date to support the notion that he did something wrong himself...

Even though I demand you do this very same thing on a regular basis. After all, I, damn_registrars, am a fake liberal.

No. I'm not saying that nothing went wrong.
I'm just saying the Lightbringer Obama had nothing to do with it. It was Hillary! Hillary derailed the hope and change I so dearly love to embrace.

After all, Nixon spied on Democrats. WE CAN'T TOLERATE THAT! Besides, as the next President said -- "What difference does it make?" We need to just move on (dot org) and get us some more of that hope and change.

Then you'd be declaring it to be a waste of money. A federal investigation is not a cheap endeavor. Especially being as there is no evidence to date to support the notion that he did something wrong himself...

See what I did there? I never complain about Federal Spending when "my" side does it. Only when "your" side does it.

I used scare quotes because I'm really on your side, as I, damn_registrars, am a fake liberal.

It will be unseated by something worse (1)

Marxist Hacker 42 (638312) | about 6 months ago | (#46151273)

Probably with the next presidency.

Now there is an ugly thought.
