Please read Johndiii's JE about the slashdot academy awards. Give ideas and put in your two cents (what about the lifetime achievement award? Isn't that sorta 'you need a life outside of slashdot award'?) ;-).

how this will turn out. Everybody will nominate someone who is worthy- but you'll notice in each case that Clifford really helped them out. Then Jenna will nominate herself for everything, of course. But in the end, even though no one nominated him, Clifford will win- and we'll all realize that he deserves it most.

...that Michael referenced when he said that you need a life outside /.? I'd like to use that as a shorthand for the awards. 713 sticks in my mind, but I'm not sure.
