It's not often that i am happy about a death, but this is one to celebrate. Arch-terrorist Ahmed Yassin (Yimach sh'mo) is dead! And hopefully Arafat (Y"S) is next. If we get rid of those murderers, perhaps peace will reign. Their vacancy will give it a spot to rest.

It's amazing though. There are many who actually criticize Israel for this. We're talking about the leader of a terrorist organization that specifically promoted murdering people, has murdered hundreds, injured thousands--many of which were maimed--, and talked about extended operation into the US. The Prime Minister of the Arabs living in Israel said that Yassin (Y"S) was a moderate! Why was he a moderate? Because he was willing to have a ten-year cease-fire if Israel retreated to the green-line. IOW, give those murderers everything that every international agreement could have hoped for, ans they'll sign ten years of peace. What then? Find something else to fight for? Kind of like the Lebanese terrorists, Israel evacuated, and the UN (Y"S) verified the international boundary, so now they made another excuse to continue fighting.

It makes one wonder. If Bin Laden (Y"S) was killed by US forces, what response would we get?

  • I read the news earlier this morning, and that's what I think about it.

    Reminds me of a joke (adapted). What do you call a dead terrorist in Gaza? A good start. Okay, that wasn't so funny. It works better with lawyers or violins at the bottom of the sea.

    Contrary to popular opinion (see other news stories), every incapacitated terrorist does improve the peace process. And by "peace process," I mean the one that will actually effect peace.

      Violins actually are great instruments. I used to play for a couple years back in highschool. Granted I usually sounded like I was killing chickens to the tune of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

        hehe I'm a brass man myself. I play the trumpet and was harkening back to my high school band days of music jokes: brass vs. woodwinds, wind instruments vs. strings, musicians vs. drummers. :-)

            "Hijacked" is such an appropriate word.
