I just got the following message from 'manstick':

If it's war you want, you will get it. When you call off that dumb-ass monkey guy, we will be cool. He was asked to stopped farming my commander and this was his reply. Have a good day.

go crazy, I don't particularly care about any of them anyway. Next time, I'd suggest you restrict your threats to those weaker than your commanders:

My reply:

A.) I don't know who the hell you are.
B.) I, along with about 5 of my officers are 10X bigger and badder than your commanders commander.
C.) The game is about attacking and defending. I get attacked about every 45 minutes, but you don't see me whining or bitching. If you can't hack it, don't play.
D.) If you yell 'war' at me one more time, you'll really pay. I usually play D and not O because of my army size. I have over 2500 attack turns and over 50 excalibers waiting for some little jerk to attack.
E.) If all of you want to attack all at once, be my guest. Enjoy taking the 3million defense beating you'll get.
F.) Change your name. Its the lamest thing I've seen (unless you are 14 or younger, I guess it may be cool).

Its fun to rail on someone you don't know. If you are into harassment (*cough*sloppy&mekka*cough*), feel free to nail el orifister the top level commander. He has decent enough D that I can't get through...

Its 'mansticks' fault. He started yelling at me and proclaiming war for no reason. That is the reason for the pain you are about to receive.
Blame him.

Rob him blind if he ever gets over 100k gold, and feel free to hurt any of the officers you deem is worthy of some annoyances.
If they are all outta your league and you have a small force, spend all your cash, then do 5 1-turn attacks to kill most of their army.

  • I hit each of them, but what I took won't even come close to paying the repair bill for my weaponry. Looks like I'll have to do some farming to come up with some cash... :)

    I'm pissed. I've been deliberately targeting and farming LS's officers and I'm being completely ignored. Not a single "leave me the hell alone!" email in almost a week.

    It's almost enough to give a guy a complex...

    • I'm in the same boat. When you break 5 million attack, it becomes hard to find people to farm that are worth while. I try to ensure that I'll get at least 250,000 gold per attack. That gets me another flaming arrow (Elves biggest weapon) and usually enough to repair everything, but not always. I found one guy worth farming. He's got 2400 army (compared to my 440) but I take most of his cash, so it's like I have a 2400 army ;)

      • Agreed. I am at 7.7 million and I try to wait till someone has over 500k in order to attack. Otherwise the repair isn't worth it. What would be nice would be the ability to attack with only some of your army.

        Of course now that my army is giant I get farmed all night, but during the day I can buy an excaliber every 90 minutes.

    • sweet shit, I'm being farmed like MAAAD from the Striker people. But its semi-ironic. I took John Harrison's advice and signed up (behind their backs) for their 'click circle' or whatever, so I've gotten a TON of men producing a crapload of cash (at one time 75k per turn), so its evening out. Everytime they attack, I lose a few guys, then their clan replenishes them ;-)
  • I can't do much of anything to him yet, but I'm working on getting there. I will do the five attacks thing though, if only to piss him off.

    Just my way of saying thanks for your other, very informative, JEs about KoC. Had I understood the game a little better when I began playing, I would have joined under you or one of your officers. Perhaps next age.

  • I gave orifister a turn to put him into my log so that I will continue checking him for a couple weeks. The problem is that he only had 76k gold, and that's just not worth much effort. But with an army size of 2248 I expect he'll generate gold rapidly and could potentially become worthwhile.

    So thanks for the lead. And the more people competing for the title of "He who has the most gold to offer Aramchek", the less often that you will be the winner. ;-)

      I just don't think I can go on...

      Unfortunately with only 200-some troops, they won't make a very good target.

      • I hadn't really considered the 5x1 attacks before. But I gave Loolywag and various others a few hits like that and took out a dozen or so of their guys. (After making a mistake and basically starting my O over from scratch 3 weeks ago I've upped it from 200k to somewhere over a cool million the past week, another week or two and I should be able to dance with the big boys and not just harass the underlings.)

        I'm still kinda hoping they will retaliate and waste attack turns on me, I've got no defense whatsoe

  • I tagged him for only 120k. I usually don't stoop for purses that small, but anything for a slash-bud! ;)

    What I'd REALLY like to do is nail Jut-stik but he's waaay to rich for my blood. I'm swinging 5.9 but he's defending 6.3.... I mean, I could try it, but I don't think my chances of winning are all that.
  • I haven't even attacked any of them yet and willyhearsya from the "manstick" camp has been attacking me. I have a business trip for the next few days, when I get back I should have plenty of attack turns with which to swing my 8 million attack points.
