Puzzle: Finish the sequences (2)

Chacham (981) writes | more than 10 years ago

User Journal 6

Here's some sequences to finish. Three might not be known to all. I don't expect anyone to get four and five, though if anyone gets one of them, the other shouldn't be too hard. Get either, and i'll be impressed.

  1. roygbi
  2. abgdezeti
  3. gelndjjrskcen
  4. tccredsdqmcffstsnmmdtrrgnnmmmna
  5. iigistueibnpaexcumdhpxttllr
  6. poiuytrewqlkjhgfd

UPDATE: Answers in next JE here.

Grr...see I knew what that was the FIRST time. I'd never found anything about a hogshead though. I was guessing ip (Imerpial Gallon) k(keg) and pk (pony keg!)

Heh.

Noone said you couldn't search for it. :)

I did. But I didn't know firkin, and all the places I went to listed Imperial Gallon after gallon (if they did at all)

Fear my weak searching skills....

1) v
2) k
3) t|e Seems like this one you should have stopped maybe two or three characters previous so there would have been less confusion.
4)
5)
6)

I'll have to keep thinking though for now...

Correct. I was thinking of stopping earlier, but wanted to get past the possible doubles.

And you're pretty quick. :)
