Journal Chacham's Journal: Journal: Car-dent bill, Cavities filled 4

I've decided to move away from the term "diaretical". It isn't a word, and it has a homonym that can be somewhat distasteful. I was thinking of using "diary", however, if i'm going to walk away i might as well run. "Journal" will now be the title of choice.

I got some mail. From the guy whose car i dented. He got his car fixed, and the charge was seventy-five dollars. If that's what it cost to fix a dent that can only be seen from the side, and a little rubbed paint, i'd hate to know what he pays for an oil change. But, what can i do? I'm off to go get a money order. I don't want to pay by check, as people have a habit of hanging onto them for while, and that simply does not work with my practice of not balancing my checkbook.

I went back to the dentist to have a couple cavities taken care of. A few shots of whatever it was, and i was numb to the pain of the drill. Though, i couldn't help but think of X-Files alien "test" as he drilled in my teeth. It was ninety-eight dollars for each amalgam fill, and i'm to go back for more.

Body work is some of the most expensive work you can have done to a car. It takes skill that borders on artistry to do a repair that you can't notice when it's done. In the classic-car field, you'd come out way ahead buying a car that looks nic

I think it's a pity that you have decided to ditch 'diaretical': it was such a fun word. Couldn't you at least make it 'Journal-istical'? Or 'log-ical'? Or 'log-istically'? Or 'chronicle-y'/'chronically'? Or some such?

Yeah, it was. My personal favorite is still "rhymsical". You make a good point. I might take it up on the next such entry. Journalistical just seems to stiff.

Perhaps because of the syllable usage. 3, 3, 2, 1, 2. It should always go dow
