I just LOVE drivethrurpg.com.
All sorts of RPG goodness in PDF format, available generally for 30 to 50 percent off of cover price, with minimal DRM bullshit. "Just enough," says the guys running it, "to make sure that Joe User realizes he shouldn't be emailing copies to all of his friends."
g'ha! (Score:2)
Obviously, I must distribute clue.
The short form: DriveThruRPG has DRM worse than Apple's, is hardly the first RPG PDF store, and only recently has discounted their stock.
And the very fun part: aside from the Storyteller books, most of the work on DTRPG is work released only with the aid of the OGL and the D&D SRD.

I didn't get left behind until OGL and SRD.
Thanks.

OGL: Open Gaming License. Like GPL, but for games.
SRD: System Reference Document. How D&D is distrubted using the OGL.

How is it worse than Apple's?
What other cross-company stores are there? I just picked up Eden's 'All Flesh Must Be Eaten,' which I've wanted for a while, and I'm probably going to round out my Conspiracy X collection with Black Book and Sub Rosa.
And how do you justify your third statement?
