Well, he's not really a stranger -- but as I've never really "met" turg in person, he is a stranger of a sort.
In any case, I have been remiss in not thanking him for the gmail invite. So thank you, turg, for your generosity. I feel *so* l337 to be among the first of the gmail crowd (well, as first as I care to be, anyway).
I have changed my publicly listed address to the gmail account, and will probably only check Yahoo rarely. As they say down at the phone company (ha! Phones. How quaint!): Please make a note of it.

Well, now everyone who's gotten an account has a passle of invitations to hand out -- it's like a virus (even more insidious than the adorable bunny one... or whatever it is in your sig).
It's just the latest "cool" thing to have -- a gmail account. That's all I can figure out.
