They actually put out an alert against a factoid in draft warnings apparently circulating in email, that I wrote in a blog post back in January. Back then, the OMB budget proposal was to increase the Selective Service System budget by 8% (primarily to fill local Draft Board vacancies resulting from 30-year term limits and retirements.) Someone important in congress balked, and the increase was removed from the mid-term budget report.
