Chronicle: Start new job tomorrow.

Well, tomorrow I start my new job. Working for DaimlerChrysler, well actually Computer and Engineering Services, Inc. (CES), in the Advanced Stamping Manufacturing Systems department. Got to move data from Sybase to UDB, a projected four-month stint.

Going to be in the HQ in Auburn Hills. It's both exciting and nerve wracking.

The worst thing about a new job is being the waiting to get there.

Then it's cool.

Congratulations! (1)

Thanx.

Moving data in betrween two databases, then converting procedures. Neat stuff. Not enough docs though.

And DB naming schemes are evil. Stupid mainframers....
