M. Silver's Journal: Housework? What's that?

Today was "put miles on the van" day. Ran up to Hutchinson to pick up my critters, ribbons, and checks ($3 for the pig, $7 for the wolf), came back for a quick lunch, then took my son to preschool, then went to WalMart, then went to a dentist appointment, then picked up my son from preschool, then came home to fix dinner.

And misread the recipe, so the Fruited Curry Chicken is Curry Fruited Curry Chicken Curry, with Extra Curry Spices. Woo.

So we went out to dinner. Fortunately, I have more chicken, and more fruit, so I'll "dilute" it tomorrow, and we'll have Fruited Curry Chicken For A Crowd.

My cleaning lady's having the last major dental surgery (of three) Thursday, so I'm having her over tomorrow and Wednesday and skipping next week. I'm going to have her take care of the neglected upstairs while I do more work in the basement.
