cryptochrome's Journal: Where's the Love?

My Karma is Excellent. I've metamoderated a handful of times recently. I used to get mod points practically on a weekly basis. So why haven't I seen them in months and months? Did /. forget me? In a possibly related topic, I submitted a story about three months ago ("How Not To Get Into Manga") which to this day is still marked as "pending". UPDATE: Apparently the two are not related; stories can stay pending for YEARS if they think they can be used someday. I'm not sure why anyone would do so, as most stories (including that one) tend to get old quickly.
