pete-classic's Journal: Banned?

It seems that someone modded down a bunch of my posts over the weekend. Some of the posts weren't very good, and probably deserved it, but some weren't. Most of them were pretty stale. They fact that they all received moderation is . . . suspicious.

So, now I'm banned for an indefinite period.

I can't even get any of that karma back, since I can't post!

Frustrating.

Yes, it certainly does seem that a concerted effort was made to mod you into oblivion. This sort of thing really pisses me off--I even wrote a journal entry about something similar [slashdot.org]--and oddly enough I was granted mod points right before I read your journal. I figure turn about is fair play, so I went back through your comment history and did the same thing--except up, not down. Hopefully, you can post again.

Took a bit to find some comments that I could call "interesting" with a clear conscience, though.

Thanks for the points. Looks like you hit the global warming and recipe posts? My more recent posts have been dogs :-(

Anyway, I don't know that it was political. I'm not even sure it wasn't a coincidence. The thing that made it odd was that it was all over the weekend. (Which is easy for me to track since I don't have internet access at home.)
