Man Fights Mountain Lion With a Chainsaw

samzenpus posted more than 4 years ago | from the Ash-would-be-proud dept.

Idle 6

Dustin Britton's bad-assness has been cemented in stone after he fought off a mountain lion with a chainsaw. The 32-year-old mechanic and ex-Marine was cutting wood about 100 feet from his campsite when the big cat attacked. "It batted me three or four times with its front paws and as quick as I hit it with that saw it just turned away. You would think if you hit an animal with a chain saw it would dig right in. I might as well have hit it with a hockey stick," he said. Britton escaped the fight with only a small puncture wound and a 50% increase in testicle growth.

Darn it, I thought the mountain lion had the chainsaw. Now that would be badass.

He should remember to grab the Super-Shotgun and Berserk for extra punch.

Though how did the chainsaw bouce off? It must not have been revved at a high rpm when he hit the lion.

Dig Right In? (1)

Sorry sir, chainsaws don't dig in. They cut by chipping away in very small increments. If they dug in, I'd have a few fingers less right now instead of having to buy new gloves.

Chainsaw whilw camping? (0)

I think he's lying, but if some jar-head used a chainsaw next to my tent while camping I'd be pissed, too. The lion was probably doing a little relaxing hunting when this irritating and selfish fool scared away everything in the forest. Does "supporting our troops" mean allowing them to be rude to everyone? What an ignorant red neck.
