Open Source 27

teleyinex writes "The annual conference of the Open Knowledge Foundation will be held in Berlin. There will be different lectures about open data, open science, open access, etc. and different free workshops where hackers, volunteers, designers, etc. can participate learning new tools, or helping scientists to develop new prototypes for their research projects."

I hope that a charismatic leader with alot of new ideas doesn't emerge.

You know what I mean.. someone who can unite the fatherland in the quest for supremacy.

What? Shouldn't you be OK with it? After all according to most Americans, Germany is just a bit hard to find on a map... for a US state. ;)

P.S.: What if there is a German hacker, who is "such a tool!"? ;)

Quoth RMS,

If the person chooses the vagina, he then falls into this obligation for support ... the only way to escape from obligation is to escape from the vagina, and that is what the free software movement is all about.

Well the event will be really near from Oranienburger Strasse, so I think they'll have this kind of things too.

No, the venue is just up from Oranienburger Strasse. Plenty of open legs there -- although, for a fee.

Is that all the names of the attendees on the registration page? Or is that past keynote speakers or something?

Should I be surprised if the former?
