jones_supa (887896) writes | more than 4 years ago

jones_supa writes "A Russian overclocker TiN has published a report on his overclocking effort with a Celeron D 347 processor. He has made the chip run at a frequency of 8.2GHz (23 x 356.5 MHz), which actually sets a new world record. The cooling was provided using liquid nitrogen while the CPU rested on it's place with no mounting. Extra capacitors had to be included to add more punch to the supply of current."
