AT&T gets rid of Unlimited Data plan

Totenglocke (1291680) writes "AT&T announced new data plans for smartphones starting Monday June 7th. Instead of the current $30 / month Unlimited Data pan, there will now be a 200 MB plan for $15 / month and a 2 GB plan for $25 / month. If a user on the $15 a month plan goes over, they'll be automatically billed an extra $15 for another 200 MB. If a user on the $25 a month plan goes over, they'll be charged $10 extra for another 1 GB. This raises the cost of the highest data plan from $30 / month for 5 GB to $35 for 3 GB. These plans will also apply to the iPad as well. Is AT&T shooting themselves in the foot with this move? Will this cause Apple to break their contract with AT&T?"
