RedEaredSlider writes "Data from NASA satellites shows that both the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets are melting faster, and making them a bigger contributor to sea level rise.
The most recent study is being published in Geophysical Research Letters. It combines data from several satellites to measure the rates of mass loss (as opposed to extent) over a 20-year period. The results showed the ice is melting even faster than the computer models had predicted."
