Radiation Leakage (1)

According to TEPCO, a radiation level of 8217 microsieverts/h was measured near the front gates of the facility. It was not specified whether "near" was inside the facility or outside of it.

Hopefully whatever is causing this dose will dissipate. That's 0.8 rem/hr or 20 rem/day (not quickly lethal, but pretty damned significant). Not to mention the effects of inhaled isotopes.
