RyanDJ writes "Ryan Johnson | GoozerNation

Are game companies forgetting the SDTV owners? Fonts are getting smaller and smaller, and Ryan Johnson of GoozerNation hasn't upgraded to HD yet. Why do the developers feel the need to shrink it so? Read in for his editorial."

neverwinter nights' fonts didn't look good on my 15" crt, so i upgraded to a 22" lcd; i didn't moan about it.

ours are shared hobbies that involve continued investment: newer electronics, computers, guitar-shaped controllers, $400 consoles, and, yes, televisions.

if you're not ready to move on to the next gen equipment, there's minecraft, xblive, wiiware, and WoW.

Yeah, I agree with you for the most part. My beef is that the systems are created with composite as an option. I know wholeheartedly I need to upgrade, and finding the cash is interesting with a baby on the way. :) Just my two cents. As I state in the article, if someone makes a console that doesn't support component or composite, I won't have room to complain. One day they will go the way of the dodo, just like oldschool RF. (side note: i'd like to see an HDTV support older things, like the light gun games from old consoles. Still fun to play, inoperable on HD)
