Review of IBM's original personal computer dug up

illiteratehack (1864492) writes | more than 2 years ago

IBM 0

illiteratehack (1864492) writes "V3 managed to dig up the original review of IBM's Personal Computer Model 5150, the machine that popularised personal computing. There's some great comments such as the article's author not being sure if IBM would sell the PC outside the US and the inclusion of a "very high quality 11.5-inch" display. TFA shows that while the PC may have changed a lot on the inside, the way it was reviewed hasn't changed much in 30 years."
