derekmead (2466858) writes "News broke today that January 20, 1992 was Ice Cube's Good Day. Since then, there's been talk of National Good Day Day, which all assumes that 1/20 is free. Here's a history of January 20, along with a petition to make it a national holiday."

National Holiday? (1)

Are they nuts? There are already too many holidays [opm.gov] in January. Pick a time when there's a dearth instead. Currently, U.S. Federal holidays include:
  • -- Monday, January 2* New Year's Day
-- Monday, January 16 Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr.
    -- Monday, February 20** Washington's Birthday
-- Monday, May 28 Memorial Day
-- Wednesday, July 4 Independence Day
-- Monday, September 3 Labor Day
-- Monday, October 8 Columbus Day
-- Monday, November 12*** Veterans Day
-- Thursday, November 22 Thanksgiving Day
-- Tuesday, December 25 Christmas Day

Some time in late March or early April would be good.
