Grab (126025) writes "One for the UK...

This year is the 30th anniversary of the BBC Micro, the machine which was the basis for a generation of UK schoolkids learning about coding. Accordingly, at ARM Headquarters the weekend after next, there’s going to be the largest concentration of ex-Acorn-Computing people in one place since the mid-80s, as well as Chris Searle who presented the BBC series, folk from the BBC Domesday Project, members of the Retro Computer Museum in Leicester and the Centre for Computing History in Haverhill, Eben Upton from Raspberry Pi talking about how to have the same impact on the current generation, and various others.

This is *not* your average computer fair! It’s fair to say that tickets are not cheap; but it’s also fair to say that an event like this is probably never going to happen again.
