Why Mac users should care about Windows malware

tsamsoniw writes "Security company Sophos shared results of a study about Mac malware (e.g. viruses), which found that 1 in 5 Macs carry Windows malware. Sure, that malware can't hurt Macs — but it's arguably another reason Mac users should use some form of antivirus software: to help protect their colleagues' and friends' Windows machines. The best reason is that malware aimed at Macs, such as Flashback, is on the rise."
