The Almighty Buck 2

chimpo13 writes "FunnyJunk threatens to file a federal lawsuit against The Oatmeal unless Matthew Inman pays $20,000 in damages. Inman posts, and replies to the letter in comic form, and raised $47,000 for charities within a few hours. He also brought Indiegogo's servers to a halt."

The story is #1 on reddit right now, I bet that's the main reason why those sites are down. Side note: apparently someone uploaded a copy of the comic [funnyjunk.com] to FunnyJunk. Keeping up the classiness, the admins there are currently forcing it's rating down to keep it off the front page.
